If you have an "arc" welder...ie Stick / electrode machine. Then all you need is a tig torch probably 150 amp air cooled and a tank of Argon like the guy said. Tig torch shouldn't cost more than (cdn$), $ 175.00 max. Yes you will need to scratch start...but I've welded tig scratch start for many years and it is not hard at all to do.
Good way to weld thin materials. Operability of the process is very similar to oxy fuel welding with "coat hangers".
will allow you to do stainless steel as well.
