can anyone tell me exactly how to atleast disable my ebpc valve??
i read a thread a while back on how to do it and now can't find the parts under my hood that the thread referred to. The valve used to engage when the low the night before was about 35-40 and only at first start up, so it didn't bother me, now it seems like if its even 50 outside it will engage. Aside from the loss of power, it still takes about 10-15 minutes of driving to dis-engage even with the engine temp in the middle of the guage. I know that the valve operates on oil temp, but if I've got a hot heater, then i would think the rest of the engine is capable of running without the valve engaged. Anyway any quick tips to disable, remove, gut or anything else you can do to it to make it stop working would be appreciated. Oh yeah, I also have it straight piped and it is extremely loud when engaged....
hey thanks cookie88, I knew i could count on you or quadzilla to know. I probably could have went out there and figured it out, but i like to stay on the side of caution on things like this. Thanks again.....
