ive got a 99 ranger w/ the ***** 4 cylinder im doing work on it 2 make it more powerful so i havent had the money 2 put a new exhaust system on it ne ideas on how 2 make it louder b4 i put a hole new system on it

to make it louder and sound good, id go with a flowmaster. I had a 94 ranger with the 2.3, added a turbo muffler (wasnt a flowmaster but something similar) and then dumped it down with a 3" pipe right between the cab and the bed (it was extended cab) and it sounded awesome. Low rumble for a 4 banger and sounded really really goood, and was pretty loud considering the motor.
