Hate to sound like a total truck amateur, but what does a leveling kit do? Where is it installed? Can I do it at home without dozens of car expert tools? What are the benefits of one?
Daysyar makes a 2.5" leveling kit which includes spacers that fit on the coil springs on the front end to raise it. This in turn levels out the nose down look that most trucks are coming with. Hope this helps. You can do it at home, but you need a jack, jack stands, tools and a coil spring compressor.

thanks good man. To my untrained eye I wasn't sure what I was looking for when checking out someone's pictures and they say "I got a leveling kit and a 4" lift, etc. etc." The lift part is easy enough to see. My small mind never bothered to look for something as easy as a balanced front and rear end.
My local 4WheelParts shop quoted me $76 for the parts and $105 for the labor = $181 plus tax. That is worth the money as I'm not at all prepared to do the work myself.
eBay does have a lot going for just over $100 if you're a do-it-yourself'r.
The 4wheel Parts franchise in my area quoted me $109 for parts, $350 to install, $110 realignment. I don't THINK SO! I'll just buy the parts and take em to a local shop. I'd do it myself but I've been working 6-7 days a week.-Jack
Thanks for the pricing samples and info on installation. I see there are several ways to do this, and after looking at vehicles around here I can tell it would look a lot better with the leveling kit installed. Hopefully my truck will be here by February 20, and I can get it hooked up.
