89 ranger M5OD slave cylinder

I was just wondering how to get the hose off either the master or slave cylinder so I could change the slave. If you could help me out E-mail me at mud2084@yahoo.com . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou

There's a special tool for disconnecting the line fitting. It looks like a 2 pronged fork. This tool is shown in the Haynes manual.

If you have spare time and no money you can measure the tool in the parts store and make your own, like I had to, twice.
