Books, Dvds, cds, coins, paper money, computer equipment (though I dont mean to), music instruments, Warhammer/Warhammer 40k, model cars, dust (hehe), hockey cards, baseball cards but those collections are done, comic books, etc;
Broken parts from my fourwheeling escapades. I'm trying to convince my wife to let me build coffee tables and end tables about 6" deep with ford blue velvet lining them with my broken parts with glass tops. I think that would be as cool as the other side of the pillow
I collect old Coleman lanterns from the 1920's and '30's. Some are in working condition and others will be when I get done with them. I also collect wooden duck decoys.
Well, nothing recently, except science fiction model kits. I do, however, have some interesting things I've collected along the way:
a 1940s Admiral TV cabinet, sans TV
My grandfather's 1943 Waltham pocket watch
My grandfather's and dad's Bulova Accutrons (complete with mosquito whine!)
Some barware from my great-grandfather's bar and service station
A bunch of worthless comics (at least last time I looked)
2 Tenor saxophones (1 from high school--not playable, 1 nifty new Yamaha Allegro--plays like a dream!)
Flashing lights from an L&N crossing gate
Other miscellaneous odds and ends...some odder than others!
I have a small collection of the diecast/stamped metal, or plastic name plates that you used to see on things like water heaters, coal fired heaters, refrigeration equipment, etc, etc...they all started to go to decals, old ones are hard to get.
I have been collecting Hurricane, Ship & Train Lanterns for the last 41 yrs. When the power fails here it is an excuse to fire them all up just to exercise their wicks and burn off the oil. Sure does look pretty though
I have a 3" binder full of baseball cards from the mid 80's, and I just got into die cast cars,) the 1/16th or 18th???) I bought my first a couple weeks ago, I want to get all muscle cars.
