Air bag dash light

we have a 94 ford bronco and it recently started doing the same thing. i am not sure if it is a milage related thing where it's supposed to be checked, or, if there's a sensor that detects something isn't right with the deployment charge deals.......i have been told if anything it may not deploy, so i dont think it will accidentally deploy.
i'll be watching this thread to see if anyone has any better answers though. just thought i'd let you know your not alone......annoying isn't it, that light flashing????...lol
