Ha V10ers,today I took my grill
off and cut me a hole right in front
of my "stock" air box with a K&N in it,so
I can give the beast some cool air. What do yall think?

NoMo has done this same mod as have many, many SD owners. I don't think any have experienced any water issues. Even if a tad bit gets in there, then having the K&N or AFE filter should prevent it from doing any damage.

Drove it to and from work today, and yes I can tell a difference in the throttle. And the sound,as well.
