Super Charged 4.6??
I have a 2000 F-150 4.6 stock...except for a K&N filter. Has any-1 supercharged 1 of these? I know ford produced a super charged version but i don't think these are "real' comparable are they? Most of those was 5.4's. _________________ 2000 F-150 2000 custom softail

Yes sir, sure have, but not to a stocker. mine was built before i put the extra wind to 'er. I do know a guy that has a sc on his 4.6.stock auto mustang. He's pushing 6-8lbs. and he's done about 15k miles without a hitch. Although he did reprogram and add larger fuel delivery. And welcome to the forum.

you will need a custom tune, and you will need to upgrade the fuel system. I run a 255lph pump and upgraded injectors. This is a 96 tbird by the way.

I run one on a Cobra. Although I do enjoy the 500+rwhp, with stock internals I would discourage it.

I agree.
You must build a shortblock with forged internals if you want to go beyond 6#'s or 8#'s.
The rods in the 4.6 are garbage when it comes to boost.

Plugg. Yes it can be done. I run a '97 4.6L in an F150. I have a Vortech running 14# of boost, custom Mondo air to air intercooler (In the opening under the Lic plate) 25# injectors, Custom Diablo chip, Forged pistons/crank (8.0 to 1), Custom designed MAF and intake, shorty headers with a CAT back, and Ram Air Hood. The whole system works like a charm and has for almost 50k miles. I'm sorting my way through the "New PI head Vs Porting and Polishing exisitng head" thing right now but have not decided what way to go yet.
