Question Long Term Damage

I have a 03 I bought last April. Engine built 3/03 I haven't had a flash since Oct. 16-17 MPG, 350 miles a week 160 which is Desert freeway rest is Tucson surface streets. Best on long haul 21mpg before Oct flash. My question is I now have 20,000 miles on truck. With all the problems what long term damage has been done and hasn't shown up yet. I didn't get extended warrantee. Wish they offered a 200k plan. 40k for a truck that runs but may not?? scary I bought it to be quiet and pull. I still have PI and TH works good.

Reddbarnz,

You stated above that you haven't had a flash since October? So did you have the October flash.

If so, you should be fine. The December flash was for cold weather opperation and high altitude idle. I had it since it is the same info as October, but with a few mods to the programming.

Below is a site regarding each flash. The newest one supercedes the older one 100%.

http://www.flatratetech.com/6literpo...l_updates.html

I bought new in August '03 (March '03 build) and now have 15,000 miles and no problems (except what October & December flashes cured).

Just start or continue going to church (or wherever you go).... it can't hurt!!!!

Good luck,
