Some nice individual hit my front bumper when the truck was parked at a shopping center. There's a small crease that I could live with, but the plastic around the bumber got broke. Anyone know if just the plastic is replacable or how makes a decent inexepensive aftermarket bumper?
The plastic is replacable, and a decent after market bumper, will start at around $700 and go way up from there. They are mostly heavey duty units that allow for winches.
Do a search on superduty or excursion on ebay. There are a couple of outfits that are always selling used or almost new bumpers for superduties and excursions. I bought the all black front and rear bumpers for my excursion on ebay. Will be selling the stock chrome ones soon. They are chrome with the arizona beige trim. The front bumper has been trimmed slightly to clear larger tires and the rear bumper has the backup sensors.
Found some sites selling new bumper for around 250 and used ones on ebay ar going for around 150. Starting to wonder if I might want a "meaner" looking aftermarket one, but I'm thinking the price will be way to high.
