Leveling kit
1. Will a 2.5" leveling kit on the front fix that?
2. Will the "leveling kit" make the front end higher than the rear end on level ground? ( I HATE that look)
Thanks... gonna order it on 2-14... rebates went up to $2500
If you get the snow plow package it might not need a leveling kit........but if you get lesser rated springs and a PSD it might require 3" to level.
If the front does end up higher you could swap out to a bigger rear block.
Hope this helps.

In most cases the 2.5 would work.. but if you don't get the plow package and you have the psd likely you will want a bit more. Say 3.5". If all else fails, upon delivery of your truck you could just measure from hub to top of fender to see what the difference is front to back...
but i want it level......
will the pro-comp 3 inch leveling kit do the trick?
and where do i get the one inch block for the back?
and does this just sit atop the existing 4 inch ones there? also, where do i get the procomp kit?
thanks
As far as the rear block, you can get one at any 4x4 store.. but you might want to instead of adding a block just replace the existing block with one that is 1 inch taller. This is safer, and has a lesser chance of the block actually coming out. Spend a little to save alot kinda thing. just a thought - good luck

They are 3" wide spring packs right, go in Summit racing and buy the 3" rear add'a'leafs. There will be a longer side to the leaf.
Take a air zip wheel and cut about 3" off the long end and install it on the bottom of the factory pack. It will have a bit of space between the pack and you will have to use a C clamp to put the U bots back on . I have had mine on for two years and they have not saged even the slightest bit. Gone offroading with ten people in the truck and have a 1000 pound western 8 1/2' V plow on it as I am typing and have had zero problems. $40 from summit racing Thats all it took.

It was actually fairly easy the only thing I would do different is not to compleatly disconect the axle and do only one side at a time. If it is done you need a comealong or a winch to get it back in to its seat.
Does installing a leveling kit make your truck more apt to squat under load (or at least appear to be squatting)? The way they come from the factory, they pretty much get level when under load (i.e the rear end squats to be level with the front.)
Raising the front should shift more weight (of the truck) to the rear. That, and if front and rear start out level and you load the rear then it seems to me that the rear HAS to end up lower than the front. As much as I like the look of a level truck, I hate the look of a "squatting" truck even more.
Having said that, I notice that I see alot of Excursions squatting down the highway under load, but I really haven't noticed any trucks (250 or 350) doing this. Maybe the truck springs are strong enough that unless you load close to max capacity, they won't really do this?
Any comments? (If any of that even made sense)

That Edge pack is a 2" pack right. Do you get any any tire rub on your springs. I have been told 315's would work and then that they would not work. This was on a F250 though. What do you think? Is your F350 perfectly level. Do you know how high it measures out to be?
Thanks
