YA MUST READ THIS
So this is the deal guy's 6 months ago I traded in my 91 f350 cc dullie for a 99 v10 
this new truck had 39.000 miles on it and was in great condition but after a week went by i noticed some problems with it such as when i would hit a pot hole or a rough spot in the road the truck went ape shet all over the road.
also it had that noise when you started cold:-( :-( the dealer sold me a extended power train warranty so on monday i took it to my local ford dealer because the mitsubishi dealer that i got the truck from don't know what to to with an american vehicle
and this is what the ford dealer said was bad.
#1 the steering gearbox and drag link are bad
#2 the motor has that piston slap problem that i have read about on this board.
I will know tomorrow if the warranty will cover the work that needs to be done but in the meantime if you guys can help me with some ammo tsb# or what ever that would be great.
p.s. its because of this site that i found out about piston slap so thank you all

Your warranty is not the Ford warranty is it?
If not becareful with those other guys they are not bad but don't always want to cover all the TSB's etc. Had one on my explorer and it paid for itself but they wouldn't cover the TSB for $1500 to fix the vibration problem.
Just a heads up.

YA MUST READ THIS
Look on the valve cover driver side at the rear, mine had a sticker that had the build date on it and from what i have learned on this site is the v10 built before 4-15-99 most likely will have the piston slap problem,:-X23
