We have been discussing this quite a while. We already have a guy that will act as moderator, just waiting for him to check in. I emailed him earlier. We discussed it before, he was willing to take on the job. He has been here a while and knows his way around.

hang10 sounds good. Looks like we might be on our way to being legit. I know me and some of the others are new but we know our way around these sites and have had past experiance putting together meets and things. We hope to bring alot to this site and hope to gain alot also. It will be nice meeting eveyone. I have started another thread trying to get all active Kansas members to reply and get them into the chapter.

Yeah, all forums are pretty much alike in the respect of knowing your way around. Just different rules and regs you have to be familiar with. Don't know about jskufan, I just read that they require being registered for one year, before you can moderate. His profile show's him at 6 mos. However, they also say they will look at every situation on a case by case basis. So, we shall see.

Don't you look at each on a case by case? Say for example, someone that has all the qualifications but hasn't been a member the required 12 mos. Can this person be taken into consideration? If not, we will find a moderator, may not be a Kansan but we'll find one.
