woodgrain decal
I am looking for some woodgrain decal material to refinish the dash bezel on my 78. It is a burl walnut, and all I can find is cherry or oak. I recently bought some parts from Dennis Carpenter and asked them where they get theirs for their reproductions, but they didn't seem to want to tell me. Does anyone know where I can get this? Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried contact paper. Another thing you might be able to use is Plastic Laminate, check Lowes for samples. I got some for the kitchen, the cheapest prices were on the Internet and had a lot more choices on sheet sizes. Remeber there are two thicknesses, one for countertops and one for cabinet sides.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look in the stores for the stuff. I got some samples a couple of years ago from a guy and the right pattern was there, but I figured I didn't need them and threw them away. Now that I want them, I don't have the guy's name or number anymore. Go figure!
