So I ordered a C6 from a company that said they would build me a bullit proof C6. I order upgrades and there web site was very impressive. Now that I have this C6 I got nothing but crap. Was supposed to get certain items that they listed and got nothing on the list. The bushings where used, the case inside is worn from brass washer spinning, the list goes on. They will not take it back or refund my money. I have not even installed this transmission! What I got and what they listed is fraud. I have disbuted on my credit card, but we will see what happens. They are out of State, I know. What should I do!
sorry about the tranny man, but if you get the law involved, you should be able to atleast get your money back or actually get the tranny built the way you want it. good luck
Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm not quite sure what the police would do. It sounds more like a civil matter, which in my state would mean small claims court. You could seek legal advice. You'd better have all the documentation you can get. Start writing down all the times, dates, what was said and names. That will help build your legal case.
If you dismantled the transmission...I don't think that's going to be the best for your "legal" problems. If there is a warranty then they may claim that you are not a professional and therefore you are not entitled to any retribution, whether or not they did bend you over.
BBB does CRAP. I doubt most fraudulent businesses are associated with them anyways. Take photos, call the PD if you want to file a complaint, and say they stole your transmission and switched it with this one. VISA or MC or whatever, wil be your best. Let them try to get the money from VISA and send the tranny back. Cheers.
Contact the Attorney General's office for your state with all the details and proof that you can gather. After you have made your case known I would also contact the Attorney General's office in the offending state. I would then contact the "business" and let them know what steps you have taken toward squashing their A$$ like a little bug. Maybe they will have a change of heart after receiving some fancy stationary from a political office. Good luck.
