Wait. Zoogme, you're talking about the buzzer or dinger that sounds when you have the key in the ignition and you open the driver side door, right?
Stumpy2, if there is a way IN THE MANUAL to defeat that feature, then do tell. But I think that you may be thinking about the "Belt-Minder" feature. That is in the manual.

The switch is in the door latch. All you have to do is close the latch using a screw driver or the handle of a cresent wrench (better because you can see that the thing is latched and won't slam the door and wreck the latch). If the door thinks its closed then the dinger stops.
