Wondering what was the common gear used for running 38's? I was thinking the 4.88's or 5.13's Any thoughts?
Also wondering where you guys bought your gears? I usually just try to buy everything online and I was looking and summit racing and they didnt seen to have the gears for the rear end.
I've been researching this issue also...and based on Q&A with others I've decided on 4.56 with 38s. It seems to be a highly recommended set up.
I just saw an add in a magazine selling complete re-gearing packages for Super Dutys...scan the magazine ads...it was one of those big double page ads that appear in every single truck magazine published...of course I can't remember their darn name right now.
Uptown,
I have 4.88 gears on my 2002 F250 w/ a 8in lift and 38 TSL radials, and I run about 2300 rpm at 70mph w/ a V10.
Now I which I would've put 5.13, now that I'm thinking of going bigger.
