Just wondering how many of you take the tops off your Broncs? I really don't intend to, but ya never know. I used to have a K5 Blazer that I took the top off of all the time but I was younger then too! What issues other than possible leaks should one condsider in regards to the Bronco top? Thanks in advance!!!!
None... Do a search on here and you will find that there is really nothing to worry about. I have had mine off multiple times and I usually only put like 5 bolts in it when I reattach it. The only problem I have ever had is my back window will be a tad slower due to alignment. I only had this problem ONCE though and it was EASILY remedied. Take care of your top and your seals and you have nothing to worry about.
Do a search - plenty of discussion on here.
Since you have a 96, you have to deal with the 3rd brake light and with the rear shoulder belts which are attached to the top.
Thanks for the input! I will do the search, probably shoulda' done it 1st!! I'm a rookie--LOL! Just made Freshman User--I'm movin' up in the world!!!! Hey RoadKill...wasn't the Bronco 1st anyway? I suppose you were referring to the top. Thanks again guys!
