I just put our 5 year old to bed @ 7:30, he has school tommorow. We usually let him watch cartoons for about an hour and then if he hasn't already fallen asleep, the tv goes off and lights out no later than 8:30.
My mom said that she put me to bed, lights out, at 7:30 when I was his age and had school.
On weekends, his bed time more or less depends on what we are doing that night.
I was just wondering what time you guys let your kids stay up to.
Well mine are 11,9 and 7 and on school nights its 8:30 with a 1/2 hour(8:30-9:00) of reading a book in their room and on the weekends 10:00 and no reading time.
8:00pm, maybe a little later on non-school nights. I have a seven-year-old and a three-year-old. After work, I can only take them a few hours and I need some time alone with my wife.
8:30, mine is a 8 y/o girl, this has been her bedtime for as long as i can recall, even during summer and non-school nights. from 8:30 till 11:00 is time i get alone with my wife before we go to bed.
The 13 year old during the week somewhere around 9:30..weekends whenever he wants.
The 9 month old usually crashes around 7:30 give or take....
Mom and Dad not long after the baby *grin*
But we all get up early usually 4:30-5 am including weekends.
When all the kids were home we used to start at 8:00,but by the time they actually hit the sack,it was closer to 9:00.Kids can find a lot of things they forgot to do just before bedtime.lol

Holy cow did you say a mouthful! My boy is 3. A lot of the customers that I work for act like they're 3! His bedtime really depends on if he napped during the day. No nap means upstairs for a batch around 7 and into bed by 7:30. If he does nap, it's usually an hour later than that.
i have a 7 and 8 year old they go to bed at 8, sometimes we let them stay up til 9 on weekends, but usually it is 8 oclock sharp, i go to bed at 9. the wife snuggles up around 11
