Gee...I thought that Japanese vehicles were perfect and that nothing never went wrong with them! If they have these wierd (and serious) problems now, what's gonna happen down the road?
hey guys no flame intended but how many years has ford been producing trucks??????? and i see there 04 is less than trouble free so far ie... rear power slider ratling, vibration in stearing wheel, limited slip clutch pack and im sure theres more. there are problems with the titan but this is the first year for their full size truck and im yet to see a mechanical problem. these trucks were rushed out the doors trying to make deadlines. all im saying is theres problems with every model and fords been in the business a LOT LONGER. nissan has made a damn good effort even if they are japanese based. maybe im wrong but a lot of people are saying the nissan is junk i disagree. i think ford should take a few notes and maybe nissan could learn a few things 2

I live near the Nissan plant and have several friends that work there. They are working those guys seven days a week! One guy only got one day off in a month. That's got to hurt quality. And there turn over rate is about 40%. With all those new workers coming and going can't be much help either.
One vender I talked to had a Nissan employee tell him not to buy a Titan for another year or so, because they are rushing them out to meet demand.
I will tell you this I came real close to buying one. If you have not test drove one don't knock it. The Titan is a nice truck. Only time will tell.
well ill stick with my fords ive had 2 F-150s and they are the best trucks i have ever had. I had a 88 F-150 XLT LAriet with the 300, and all i can say is wow 250,000 miles and then i totaled it. MY current truck is a 1996 F-150 Xl same motor as the 88 181k and not a single problem. Yeah Japanesse may be great and all but ill stick with my fords for now
