Well, I'm bored, and I was just thinking about the Red Green Show. Does anyone else here watch it? I haven't seen it for a while, and I'm really missing it. I used to tape every episode. And if you haven't seen it, watch it. Its on PBS, or used to be anyways.
It is on at 7:30 on Saturday night on pbs in southern Ky.
I found it a couple of years ago .
Its a really good show I look forward to it every week.
Does this mean Iam gettin old
We watch it up here, when we remember it's on. Funny stuff! I want to tape some eps and send them to my deprived relatives in the south who've never seen it.
My favorite part is the handyman corner when he does stuff to cars. I saw a videotape of just him "fixing up" cars and it was one of the funniest things I've seen.
did you see when they went fishing and the wanted to shock all the fish up so they could get them easier? they knocked down a power pole into the lake killing everything, problem was they couldnt get the fish because now the lake was eletricfied lol. that show has it funny moments
That show is pretty cool my favorite one is when he made a sno plow for his van out of cardboard and duct tape and then shot holes threw the floor in his van for salt
Its the only good show that I can pick up, except for The Simsons. i have one of those rabbit ear antennas in my dorm room because the price for cable is $40 a month. I can only pick up NBC and PBS.
Its still on here in Phoenix on channel eight PBS. I think its great, my wife doesn't like it (she was raised in Canada), she asked me once about why they don't show good Canadian proggraming here and it so happens I read the reason once. US programming was so prevalent on Canadian broadcasts that the some politicians became concerned that Canadian culture would be overwhelmed by US culture so they passed a law that required that Canadian programming had to be ten percent native Canadian in origin. Problem was they didn't have enough home grown stuff so they were forced to put just about anything Canadian on so any Goombah who could sorta put something together stood a good chance of getting it on just to satisfy the ten percent requirement. Fortunately some of it is really good like The Red Green show.
I also like a lot of the British stuff, like anything with Rowan Atkinson especially the Black Adder stuff.
I loved that show when PBS carried it up here. You guys just inspired me to do a search. I think I found what I set out for...
