Car accidents
I've been in a few.. 2 were deemed nobody's fault and 1 the other person was at fault.
One I had when I first started driving, I was making a right hand turn and the car behind me didn't see me and hit me from the side. Nobody was deemed at fault. Caved my mom's door in. No damage to the other car.
Another I had was on a rainly fall day. The light turned red and I slid right through on leaves. The other lady started out without making sure the intersection was clear and I hit her. Once again, not at fault. No damage to my car, her's had to be towed.
Last one I had I was sitting with my turn signal on waiting to make a left hand turn. A lady yakking on her cell phone never saw me and hit me full force at 40 mph. Totaled my car, I was lucky to walk from that one. Her car had damage and she was able to drive hers home (It sucks too, I had just gone through a $3500 tuneup on that car only a week before!). She was deemed at fault.

My parents were involved in a car wreck about 2 years ago. They were driving our new van out to dinner one night, and as they approached a side street, a woman driving a Jeep didnt stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of my parents. Luckily, my parents saw the Jeep and had time to slow down to about 20mph or so before T-boning the Jeep. Our van suffered a screwed up bumper, cracked grill, broken headlight (~$200 for one headlight unit
) and a bent-up hood. Nothing happened to the Jeep unfortunately (Nerf bars)

Over the years I have been hit about 17 times. I seem to be a magnet for some folks. 1 was my fault. I had looked both ways at a stop sign, but missed a car I couldn't see due to parked cars on the street.
Worst single year was 02, when I got rear ended twice. Fortunately both were by cars.

I just recently got in one about two weeks ago.
All the roads were iced over, I was getting momentum up to get up this hill by my house, this other car came up to a stop sign doing like 25 (people don't know how to drive in ice around these parts) they slid out, I swirved to miss them and slid into a fence. The bad part about not hitting them is that now I had to pay for all the damage, to the fence and my truck. It caused about $500 to my truck, not including body work. So it really wan't that bad, just an inconvience.

I too am a magent for wrecks. Been in 6, none my fault. Got rearended two weeks ago on the freeway due to ice. It was in my Camry which is a POS so I didn't even bother filing a report. Just drove away. It was my second in almost a month and didn't feel like hassling with it for as little damage as it caused.
Got hit in my truck in December which was really dissapointing, just got it running nice. Acerockola is right, people in the NW don't know how to drive in ice.

I've only been in one, and it was the other guys fault. We were going opposite directions, he was coming around a curve real fast and went off the road, then fishtailed back on and came right into my lane. I got over as far as I could and luckily he just nicked me. It coulda been real bad as we were both doing about 50-60.

I've only been in two, both were the other person's fault. One was i was a passanger and we were driving down a straight road. This guy makes a left turn LITERALLY in front of us and we slam into him. I broke my collarbone and left femur, nobody else was seriously injured.
The second one i had was about a year ago, i was on my way to work in my el camino and the roads were real icy. I see this road adjacent to mine and a car coming up real fast to the stop sign on it. That always annoys me, people slamming on their brakes at the last minute at the stop sign, but this time it didnt work out for them. because of all the ice they just slid right out into traffic and sideswipped me. It was some typical high school girl who didnt understand you had to slow down when conditions are bad. Anyway, she kind of did me a favor, i was trying to get rid of the el camino and the insurance gave me more money than i was asking for it.

I've been in both the one that was my fault i was of course fooling with the radio and did not see the s\car stop in front of me hit the car and pushed the bumper into the front seat. luckly no one was injured and the guy was'nt even that mad. my truck had a brush guard on the front and did no damage to my truck.

A couple of years ago (in early April) when I was driving I-94 out to Minnesota I put the car in the ditch. 75 mph and had the cruise on. Lost control on an icy spot on a foggy morning. Stupid me had just taken the snow tires off and the weight out of the trunk two days before. Ended up in the median, damn near into oncoming traffic.
I have been in 2. The first one was not serious and there was almost no damage. I was on a hill and rolled into this guys ghetto little S-10. Put a little dent in his tailgate with my Hooker pushbar. The second accident was more serious. It happened Dec 12, 2002. Almost in the same conditions as yours 88grandmarquis. My Fiancee and I were driving to work early in the morning down a backroad we always take to get to MN State highway 169. There were no problems except for the the fog which wasn't too big of a deal. Roads were pretty much clear. Until we came over a bridge that goes over the Rum River. The Bridge was glazed with ice from the fog and there was nothing I could do. We were doing between 55 and 65 and the truck just started sliding all over. I let off of the gas but the it seemed the whole truck was siding eradically, not just the rear. Finally I just slammed on the brakes and the truck spun completely around and into the opposite lane, slid back over to the other side of the road and came to a stop upside down in the ditch about a 1/4 mile from where we had started to slide. We were both wearing seatbelts and climbed out just shaken. My fiancee had a few scratches and some neck pain later, but that was it. The truck was only 7 months old with 18,000. A little while after that Final Destination 2 came out and we went to go see it. That opening seen was very painful to watch after that accident.
Theres a picture in this thread of the truck later that day.

I've been in one real one, and one little reported BS one. The first: I was driing my dads F150 Ranger home after school, and at this one intersection this guy pulls out in front of me from a stopsign. I didn't have a stop, but I was speeding a little bit, slammed the brakes, which weren't too good, locked the tires, which were practically bald, and slid inbetween a mailbox and the trees. The mailbox was in a couple feet of concrete, on a Iron plate, so it left a nice gash in the drivers side door. I didn't hit the guy, and I got he ticket for speeding, but dad and I fixed the mailbox.
The other: I was just driving around town, not speeding, and painter guy in an old van didn't look while he backed into me from the parking lot on the right. I swerved into the other lane hopeing he wouldn't hit me, but he did. I got a ticket because I had no right to be in the other lane. But really because I was 16 and the other dude was 40 something.

been in two big ones.
first one was all my fault and stupidity. i was in my 93 Honda Accord driving down this really cool and really dark windy road, when i looked down at the CD-player, looked up and the road took a 120 degree left turn sending me and my girlfreind into a tree. that car saved my life, great crumple zones really took alot of the blow away from my body. i walked away with a broken wrist, sore back, and bruised sholder. girlfriend hit the wind shield and walked away with a sore neck and head. we got lucky, car totaled. i miss that car, so much fun, great gas milage and reliable and all get out.
second one wasn't my fault. i was driving my Acura Legend that i replaced the Honda with, only had the car 2 weeks, going through an intersection at about 45 mph, then the next thing i know i'm spun around and then looking a a chevy truck grill with the bow tie right at eye level. what had happend was the lady was trying to beat the light and turn in front of me comeing from the other direction and hit me head on spining me around into this other chevy truck. witness said she was flying. she was driving a big old chevy caprice, she went to the hospital on a back board, i hurt my ankle and reinjured mt wrist.
i don't want anymore crashes. they hurt.

First I have to say there are NO such thinks a Accidents. Wrecks happen because someone screwed up, and what ever happened to cause it could of been prevented.
I have been in Two.
1st:
In 1985 while stationed over in Germany (US ARMY) I was involved in a car accident. Going a little over 100mph, the front tire blew out, car flipped multiple times, came to a stop right up, but in the fast lane and got t-boned by a BMW.
I broke my neck, pelvis and busted open my head (over 80 stitches).
2nd:
I was at the end of my street waiting to turn in, Blinker on and some young punk rear ends me going ~ 45mph.
My truck had to get the bumper and tailgate replaced. His was totaled, Camaro, he did manage to take off and leave the scene of the wreck, but it was not hard to follow him with fluids and parts leaving a trail.
No Injuries. Still have no gotten any of the court mandated restitution. ($2K)
