I'm not crying anymore!
Last week my 2000 F-150 literally went up in flames! (http://community.webshots.com/album/109037735DakmVa)
I had only owned it for two weeks. Man, was I down. I thought I would never find another one so beautiful and clean. But I did! http://community.webshots.com/album/113409156GscsGq
It was well worth the extra $1,000 I paid over the 2000 F-150
The insurance fire investigator is still looking into the cause. It's a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew with Lariat interior. I think I actually came out ahead on this experience!

Not really sure, King. If the investigators can tell it would be a miracle. I suspect it was electrical. Two COP's were replaced a day before by the Honda dealer who sold it to us. They also repaired the door locks so the remote for the alarm they installed would lock/unlock the doors.
I first thought it could have been fuel because they removed the rail to access the #1 plug, but the truck was parked for 40 min.s before bursting into flames. That should have been enough time for the cat or manifolds to cool considering the night chill at 2:00 a.m. 45 degrees.
