Overhaul/Upgrade
I am in the planing stages of doing some work on my 93 explorer. This all started because i am getting tired of the valvetrain ticking. While i was looking at parts that need to replace, and saw that it would be easy to replace some other parts while i was at it.
Here is the list:
lifters
rocker arms
push rods
cam (upgrade)
heads (cant decide how much work done to the heads yet)
headers
electric fan
alum. radiator
I was wondering if yall had anything to add to the list. Also if yall knew any places to buy these parts. I am planing to get all the valvetrain and heads from 4.0 performance http://www.4.0performance.com the fan will be a flex-a-lite and i am still looking for the best price. I have yet to find any direct replacemets for the radiator, i cant find any that have the a/c condensor buit into it.
As i said before i am just in the early planing stages. I am just trying to find vendors for the parts and get a general price idea. It will be at least march before i even start.
