I'am changing the oil pump in my 85 bronco II and i was wondering if you have to prime it once it is installed...?or do you just install it,add the oil and start er up...?I have never done this before so any advice would be great...thanx
Definately prime the pump before you start the engine. Before you install it pour oil into the pump and get the oil on the gears. Then turn it with a drill as stated above.
