A Question for the Ladies....

Ladies....So, being that Im newly single again, there is something Ive been wondering about....
What does the term "Bad Boy" really mean to yall...?? Im getting mixed messages from watching programs like Hollywood Access/ Extra or checking out the Personals....Are they talking about Behavior, Life styles or what ???
...Some enlightenment on this issue would be greatly appreciated....

A Bad Boy as an actor is someone like Mickey Rourke. Movies like Risky Business (Tom Cruise), Harley and Marlboro Man (Don Johnson and Rourke) portray bad boys also. They were bad boys, but everyone loved them. Rourke's a rebel, but plays it cool. I think it's someone who lives on the edge. Doing things that would get him in trouble, but is clever enough to never get caught.

My Uncle was a bad boy. He used to show up to meetings in full biker gear, just to get a rise out of people who didn't know him. But, due to the field he was in, they could never kick him out. His girlfriend accidentally (I hope) told everyone one of those stories about not getting caught. LOL. He was definetely a playboy, and I admired him. There's a bad boy, and 800 showed, including his Harley buddies doing the missing man form.

There you go, one woman's opinion.

bigblu is right.
I have a close male friend who is a badboy. Very friendly with the ladies, and a little stand-offish with men. Does alot of crazy things. Always pushes the envelope a bit.
These type of guys tend to understand the female gender very well. They are also very easy to talk to, and non-judgemental.
My badboy friend is one of my best buds.

Very attractive, but not in a pretty boy way. Very masculine, with a self confident air.

You're either one or you're not. Haven't seen too many "bad boy" posers although the "weekend warrior" Harley riders might qualify.

Mike W,
Crash Course:
Grow some facial hair and then get yourself to the pub. Find a pretty girl and tell her you'd like to let her buy you a drink.

I agree with Nh-Hottie. I tend to think Trace Atkins, country singer's got the look, and the voice.

Wabiker,
I don't know how old you are....but the term "bad Boy" usually means different things depending on the generation. Ladies in their 20's are usually attracted to "bad boys"...the previous posts are all accurate...but rarely do "bad boys" in their 20's make good mates.

We woman in our 40's recognize the 40's "bad boys" and tend to steer clear of them..for the same reason..they generally don't make good long term mates. Everyone loves to hang around with a "bad boy"..but it's not as much fun when you are in what you hope is a committed relationship...with a "bad boy". The constant desire to party..the need to always stir the pot..it's fun for awhile..but at some point, someone wants to settle down..and "bad boys" rarely settle down. So it's all about what ladies want at the time....gee, like that's a big surprise!

Enjoy yourself....but keep in mind, please don't pretend to be someone that you really aren't. Woman always pick up on that...and it's never a good result. As someone already noted, posers aren't welcome.

Lisa

Good one Lisa!
They are fun to be with, but not fun to keep. Too much of a headache.
These type of men are not the marrying kind.

What would you ladies like to see in a potential mate?

I would be too intimidated with perfection.
Almost perfect is good enough for me.

Mike. Still thinking about your question.

From what I understand about women, a "Bad Boy" has some *Danger to him*.

The guy that Mother's & Father's don't really want their daughter to be around .

James Dean,Elvis,Fonzie, etc (Insert Movie character here )
