does anyone know how the demon carbs perform? because i plan to get edelbrock performer heads, cam and manifold. does anyone think it would go good with a demon? or should i stick with the edelbrock carb? (its going on a 351w in a 62 ford f100 unibody)

The demon should have great performance for that salty price. I would stick with edelbrock carb, since you have all the other edelbrock components.After all they have done the homework on there carb. cam, head combinations, not to for get the manifolds also!!!!!
Demon makes a good carb and the price isn't as bad as most people think. Look into streetable line of carbs or just call their tech line and tell them what engine/trans/gears you have as well as truck weight, etc and what your wanting to do and they can help you out.
Oh the other hand the edelbrock packages are well thought out. Tell the demon people and they might have a good recomendation as to what to do.

Demons are a rounded off, aerodynamic Holley.
The Edelbrock's are a revised version on the old AFB's. Actually, Weber carbs enhanced them before Edelbrock took over.
I would try one of those new AVS Edelbrocks. Nice carbs.
