Help !!
I have a 2001 Ford F-250 Superduty with a 5.4L gas engine. I want to purchase a Diablo Chip for the truck, but here is my problem. I am unable to obtain the ECU code on my truck. I followed the directions about removing the two 7mm screws and tilting the unit to the left and reading the numbers off of the back of the unit. The problem is, when I remove those two 7 MM screws, nothing happens! Can somebody please give me some direction here?????

Right. On the hinge end of the door, there should be a small white sticker with 3 letters and 1 number. This will be your code. It should also be on the end of your ECU. If you go through the hassle of removing the box, on the end there is the code. Good luck.

Help !!
After you pull the 7mm screws, I think there is also a clip that holds the ECU against the body. If you want to completely remove the ECU, you'll have to un-bolt the wiring harness on the outside of the truck too.
