"CHINA TRASH" haters

Look, the reason walmart is cheaper is they are buying their trash from china. The quality of the products from china is so bad I will not buy it.....especially if it is made of any kind of "THEIR" metal/steel. Also, their electronics is no good either. It will last for a while....break and you throw it in the trash. So, yea.....it's 50% cheaper then anyone else but "IT'S TRASH".

The only made in china item I've bought that was actually good was a 10 dollar grinder at a parts-a-rama. It actually works good, I'm gonna buy another next time I go just in case this one breaks. I do agree that most everything else is trash though.

My thoughts exactly! What ever happened to their policy of Made in America? That was a bid theme when they first opened up their store up here.

Like a lot of retailers, they were forced to change their motto from, "Made in America" to "Made Somewhere else Cheaper" to reflect the buying habits of the American consumer.

I never even thought any more of it until we started to discuss it on this forum. It's definately a way to get the consumers to buy into the concept of having a Wal-Mart starting up in a lot of locations.Sneaky buggers huh?

That dissapeared when Sam Walton passed on. The current management has foregone their promises of 'made in america' for investor profits, and it makes me absolutely sick. I read somewhere that out of every US dollar, 17 cents ends up at Wal-Mart. Does that scare the bejesus out of anyone else? I know China is killing my business, and we have been forced to introduce a low priced, lower quality line (we have been manufacturing here in American since 1894, and still continue to do so). We figure we might as well as offer the "thrifty" line, or someone else will! [sarcasm]Thanks Bubba. All of us in manufacturing won't forget youre allowance of China into the WTO. [/sarcasm]

They only adopted that "Made in America" back in the 80s when they had some competition. Now that they don't have much or every one is chasing them they showed their true corporate colors.

Sam Walton drove an old beat up Ford pickup. Its in the Wally World museum in downtown Bentonville, AR in the original dime store.

Corporations can become monsters driven by pure Greed and thats the case with WalMart. Microsoft is pretty dangerous to in the vacuum of no competition save maybe Linux.

The Irony of the Museum in Bentonville is it is the model of the numerous towns that WallyWorld has destroyed.

Yes there is too many threads on WallyWorld but this is the only one I've posted in. I even got a Ford in there.

Most Americans want and must have less expensive choices but at Wal-mart that is now the only choice given. If they had a "Made-in-America" section dedicated to American made products, I think the public would support it and the Wal-Mart bashing would stop.

I rarely ever go to a Wal-Mart, too manny rude no class people packed in there like sardines and its too big a hassle to take back used oil etc. to the ones around here. A man could get trampled in the crowd in there!

China is not forcing anyone to buy their fecal matter. If they can produce a bunch of crap and sell it for real money, more power to them. If we could do the same thing we would. If a person doesn't want to buy Chinese junk, he should keep his money in his pocket.

sometimes there is little or any choice to buy Chineses fecal Matter. I was in lowes yesterday and almost bought a certain Sylvania light bulb and noticed it was made in India or some damn where and put it back and got another style Sylvania made in the U.S. Tennis shoes are a good example.

I don't know about every one on hear, but when I buy Italian dress shoes, I would prefer they be Italian and NOT CHINESE. The next thing you know, pizza will have water chestnuts on it!
