We needed the room under the truck for a large power distribution center and since we moved the batteries under the truck as well, the front tank was voted off the island

Here's the info on the battery relocation.

Here's the scoop on the power distribution center.

Oh yea, one more thing...

If anyone is in need of the skid plate for the front tank, I have one available. It's been sandblasted and painted with DuPont's Imron gloss black paint. It's just taking up room here so if you can use it, let me know.

So you had a sending unit & fuel pump for the Bronco?
Were the tank straps off the Bronco as well?

Did your fuel gauge in the truck read correctly?

Reason why I'm asking, I have a leaking front tank that I have to replace. I figured since I'm replacing the front tank, I might as well do this modification also if everything goes well.

Here is what I did.
I got a new tank for a bronco. 38 gallon. Then I got a used sending unit and put new fule fump on it. It was for a bronco tank. It is loonger and sender is diff. I then got some new tank straps for the new tank. Then it was just a bolt in. It went very good for me. It was few yers ago, so Ther may have been a problem or 2 that i dont rember. But if there was they were not big.
The hole thing cost me 75$ more than just putting a new tank of the same size back in. That why I did it, the old one was bad.
