Straight pipe a Powerstroke?

I have a freind that says her 95 PSD has the exaust straight piped all the way back. It sounds just like a big truck. Loud rumble. Has any one else done this and how did you do it? Was it worth it? did it increase power? Thanks for your help.

Straight pipe a Powerstroke?

Many poeple do it including my neighbor. All you do is remove the muffler and add a piece of pipe in its place. You'll see a reduction in EGT as well.
