My 82 F-250 4x4 was a huntin and chore truck.I gave it a 4 color camo job to hide the rust-lol-and most critters see shades of grey!A buddy of mine did a nice job on his Bronco daily driver complete with camo netting on the roof rack where he kept his spare tire.It was an eye catcher in the city!! Hard to stay low profile lookin like that on city streets. He got lots of attention-mostly from the police!! ...you asked1
My '83 Bronco had the paint coming off from the high pressure washers. Right down to the bare metal. I camo'd the entire thing, even the headlight covers I made for it. The wheels, too. I got more commentary than if I would have gotten a $5,000 paint job. Also, I never worried about how much mud I got on it, or scratching it. Even looked a little better when it was somewhat dirty. I drove within 15 feet of deer, and they just looked at it and couldn't figure out what it was, engine noise and all, they just stared until I honked the horn. Elk would slowly walk away, they knew something just wasn't right.
That sound really cool. i like the older broncos too i bet it looks real good in camo. Put some pics of it on here so we can see it. What type of camo did you use also?
get the heavy duty implement paint found at like Tractor Supply....it will hold up a lot better than like Home Depot brand! you'd be surprised how cheap you can get paint for!
if i remember correctly 2 issues back the cover truck for "four wheeler" was done in camo, i think its look pretty good, a bit different than those cover truck i was used to...too bad it was a chevy.....:P
