How often do you change the oil guard filter?

I'm going to run my first filter to 4000 miles and send in the oil to Blackstone for analysis. If everything checks OK, I may then extend the Oil Guard filter change to 6000 miles and pull another sample. Not going any further then 6000 miles on the Oil Guard.

Extending oil change cycles and reducing costs were not the reasons for my Oil Guard bypass purchase. My motivation was maximum filtering at most any cost.

I've recouped my cash just after the first 15K filter change. I shouldn't have to change all of my oil ever again. I'll only change my oil after Titan labs says I need to.

Both Heatstroked and I are happy with our systems but for different reasons.

Lets us know what you get.

Hey Heat - You do a bypass for the tranny and fuel as well? We need to hookup so I can look your truck over.

I saw a post on it (all bypass) about a week ago and am trying to figure out where to stuff all of the filters and still leave room for a Powershot2000 tank without a heap of plumbing. Any hints from a multi-bypass user?

I have the coolant filter and the oil bypass filter installed.

Haven't done the tranny. I need to do research before i do that one.

Let me know when you have time and we can meet somewhere between where we live? I'm open on Saturdays 9-2.

Powershot tank would mount between the outer frame rail and the body panel. No filter placements there, at least not the way I did it.
