MY VACATION
Okay my truck almost meet its match.First of all let me start by saying that iam a very proud psd owner I have a f250 super duty 373 rear end and have never had trouble pulling my 28ft fifth wheel camper until we went on our last vacation to petit jean state camp ground in arkansas if you have ever been their you no what iam talking about we were in farm county i mean flat land and I looked at my wife and said dang thought we were camping in the moutains any way she points towards this moutain and says i bet were up their and I said naw cant be.DAMMIT MAN round this curve and the way we go now iam not sure what the grade was but in five miles you climb 1200 feet and iam here to say my truck was screaming by the time I got on top of that moutain.whew that was toughest climb I have had yet oh and I noticed once we got back home and it sat in the garge for a week now I have some redish looking fluid under my truck gee wonder what that could be.Let me say one more thing I do not abuse my truck it got worked a little bit but never abuse. take care and happy travels

Glad you're back safe and sound.
If you want more "challenges" for your truck and trailer combo I recommend I-64 heading west in Virginia not far the W.Virginia border.

Its great to be back thank you. As for my tranny problem had the converter replaceed about 6000 miles ago when I got it back it leaked took it back and thought they had fixed the problem but now its leaking again need to find someone in the dallas area that can bullet prof that tranny i understand it can be done.

You know, if you would quit using it like a truck then you wouldn't have these problems
How much weight are you towing? My biggest concern would be the trip back down the HILL. What kind of adventure was that? Did your brakes hold up to the task with no problems?

Yikes the down hill part hmmmmmmmmmm not a problem made sure the brake controller was adjusted and left the truck in second gear for the ride down.iam now wondering if that is what cause my converter to start leaking again?
