If your looking for an replacement for the Air filtering system K&N
is a good choice,
I just purchased a simular product, The INTIMIDATOR from
american products company, www.4apc.net.(it's made in Cali ? )
it should fit right on the intake end of the plenum, then I'll get rid of the supply tube, looks like there should be enough room for it.
the new dodge neon 95+ intake works for bronco 2 if you go on www.ebay.com and type "neon intake" it will give you some setups for cheap. its not a real k&n but a K&n like filter should work pritty good hope this helps
I was wondering which would have the most advantage. A cold air setup or just getting a K&N filter that fits the stock box? What are the advantages to cold air other than the stock warm air box with a really good filter? Thanks
Im not sure if u know this but the stock intake is cold air intake. there is a tube coming out of the box going to the front the the grill whe u drive cold aor is forced into the tube right to the filter giving your car cold fresh air directly to your engine
hrm Ok well what I am considering is either getting the intake off a 95' Neon or getting a K&N filter that fits the stock box. Which would I see the most improvement with?
Im my opinion i would say do u go off road or in the mud ? i bought a neon off ebay but the smuck punked me and never sent it. but now i think my stock setup is better since i go through mud and water alot it keeps the intake more protected. A neon will sound better but as far as power not sure if k&n stock or neon is better.
Thanks 90bronco2 I just got home with my new K&N filter and I am thinking about the chip as well. I might go with headers first though, I am not sure... Let me know how that chip works if you get it.
