Subject tank leaking from small crack? in edge of lower tank component. Crack seems to be elongated dark area and coming with age?

Have tried epoxies, JB Weld, glass resin, nothing wants to stick to the plastic tank, even though well cleaned and scraped. Leak increases due to slight expansion when coolant system builds to operating pressure. Seals off when engine is cold.

Leaks just enough to mess/stink, and needs coolant topoff at about every other fueling.

Well, then unfortunately you know the cure...

 

You might have a body shop weld it for you, as they do plastic body parts now. It might be more cost wise to just replace it. Good luck

 

head to your local junk yard and get one cheap.
