That's in the price of the tires.I'm gonna go with the Lib's.If I'm not happy with them,I'll never buy another set.
Geeze...What crap .I had a low tire on my Ranger that started doing that over the weekend and I went out this morning and it was flat after I aired it up last night.I'm definitely going to have to get some new tires. These current rubbers aren't worth the trouble to find the leak and fix it.Tomorrow's the big day ...
Well, good luck with your Liberators. Like I said, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. They aren't worth 2 cents unless you use them for agri purposes on some old junk truck or trailer.
Get some American Grand Turbo G/Ts if your truck is 2x4. They are actually made by Michelin Tire and Rubber and they are awesome tires for the money. Way better than BFG Radial T/A or Cooper Cobra G/T.
Now, if you have a 4x4 check into the Cooper Discovery line. I can't stress enough how good of a buy Cooper and American light truck tires are.
Well,so far so good. These tires are really nice.I got them for $44.96 each, with the warranty, road hazard, etc.I was out the door for $230.I am not happy with Wal-Mart's service though. They called me to the back when the truck was finished and gave me my keys.I went outside to find that my rims had glue residue all around the rim and also blotches of glue around the holes .I went back inside and told them my problem.I hadn't paid them at moment because I wanted to see their work.I made the tire center boys clean the rims until I could see my reflection in them .I know it's Wal-Mart,but they should do a better job than to splatter glue all around the rims.I will probably buy another set of Liberator's in the future, but I'll not go back to Wal-Mart for them.
BigBlockGuru - I don't know on the quality of these tires. From the looks of them, they're really nice and the tread pattern is just what I need.If I have bad experiences with them,I'll never buy another set.I will tell you one thing, they ride just as good or better than Michelin's to me.

I must agree with BigBlockGuru on the Liberator tires. out of round and crappy belt system. I had them for about 4K miles on my F350 and all the belts were toast. Thought I had an alignment problem or balance problem. Took the truck to get the front-end aligned and they said the alignment was fine that my belts in the tires were busted, so I took to Wal-Mart and they agreed that the belts were busted and I had to have them replaced. Got them replaced and same thing happened again, so I went with the higher cost Continental Sport LT/SUV tires and they seem to be holding up a little better. The Liberator tires are cheap, but at least on bigger vehicles they don't seem to hold up, but on that little Ranger thing you have, they might be fine.
Actually I have had Liberator AT's on my '02 F150 for 45,000 miles now, I've been absolutely thrilled with them. They were supposed to be 40,000 mile tires, and at 45,000 they are at least 50% on the worst corner, probably 60% or better as an average. I wont lie, I'm relatively easy on tires, but I'm a 24 year old guy with a V-8 5spd truck, so it's safe to say they've been smoked once or twice, and have held up better than expected. Road noise it a little tedious, but bearable, and I only rotate at around 15,000 miles, so I can't complain about having some noise! These tires still ride nice and smooth, and have NEVER been rebalanced, nor have I ever had a flat. I wont say they are the best tire made, and I'm no expert on tires, in fact my favorite brand of tire is General! That being said, these have held up much better in 45,000 than the factory BF Goodrich's did in 8,000! But to be fair, mine are about 3 1/2 years old, so they are the old Liberator, not the new Uniroyal badged version, which has a completely different tread design...
