Mr.Whipple, how many footpounds are you SQUEEZING out of theV10, do you have an intercooler? I am vey interested in forcing my truck but want to aquire as much info as possible first.

How do you think your longevity and dependabilty will be with the Whipple? Have you had many problems so far? How does the air/fuel ratio seem? Can you smoke the tires in all gears?
Maybe this topic could lead to be a gathering point for those v10 ers who have whipples.
I did a little reviewing and it seems like the best super to go with for the v10. Maybe there is a little more compression heat to deal with, but an intercooler (and a ice box) would help with that.
If a person wanted about 30 seconds of cold air, there is a company that makes a cold air system that hooks up to your air conditioning system. But I'm interested in how the whipple will hold up under towing conditions.
What fuel mileage drops or gains are you seeing?

After doing the research on the Whipple and the way it is running right now, I figure it should last as long as the engine. I have seen no compaints about the Whipple. I have to hook up my air/fuel gauge, boost and fuel pressure gauges. Pretty hard to smoke tires in all gears with a 6,000 lb. truck. But, will chirp them going into 2nd. And that is with 275/60/16 Toyo Proxes. What company has the cold air system. I put in a Kennedy Water Injection Kit. I havent checked fuel mileage. On that air conditioning kit. I can't find it through google. I tried a couple times. I think I found it through a link on either proficientperformance or superchargersonline. They had a specific kit made up for a grand am or some other similar car and were willing to offer quotes on other custom system. If I find it, I'll post it here.

I've Got a Whipple
I bought one about two years and 25,000 miles ago. There was a post up on the site when I first installed it on my V10.
It's got Power.....

Thanks, I noticed on another post that you and DougB442 had a problem with your Idle Air Control Valve. Me too. Had to replace it. Doug said it was because it was running rich. I kept the old one and will clean out the carbon deposits. If it happens again, at least I wont have to order a new one. So far, I have only found 4 other guys that have the V-10 with the Whipple.

I was thinking to add a supercharger but hesitate because of thr high mileage. What do you think?
Beside adding the whipple, did you do any other mods? (intercooler, exhaust, air intake,header..)
Did you do the mod yourself and in that case how did it take?
