Originally posted by Kam Has anyone actually installed a leveling kit on a 2WD. I have an 04 Screw XLT and have no complaints yet, well except one. That would be I dont like how the appearance of the rear end being so high. I want to put on a leveling kit but dont know what direction to go. The options I know about are #1 font coil spacers, cheapest or suspension lift. The problem with the suspension lift is the kit will raise the back about an inch. I am only looking to raise the front end. I dont want to lower the rear either because I tow and need the clearance. If you have a 2wd and have lifted let me know the way to go. Cheers
Daystars website says the kit is for 2 and 4WD. Part no. is KF09111.--Jack

TxAggie,
What was the total cost for kit and installation? Does the back end still sit slightly higer than the front or did it pretty much level it out? Post pictures if available. Thanks
Total cost for the kit and installation ran about $250. I did have it alligned afterward for another $45. The truck is pretty muched leveled out. I have pix being developed, and i will get them on as soon as I can.
2FastLX - I agree with you on the 5 lug wheels in the above picture. If you look carefully at the spacing there is no question that those are 5 lug wheels. There is one more explanation though. Wheel adapters. There are so few wheels for the new F150 right now that adapters would be an option for someone who wants to install a wheel that's not currently made for the '04 F150.
