Two Problems Fixed In One
I have posted a few times concerning my oil and my truck running poorly. I was worried that i had a cracked head or bad rear main. Oil was being forced out of the filler cap into the air cleaner, It was "foamy", and the truck was running kinda funky. The truck started to stall when decelerating, so I thought to check the idle adjustment. While doing this, I found gas pouring out of the bottom of the fuel pump. I replaced it with a 13 dollar pump from Napa, and then changed the oil because I read here that a bad fuel pump would allow gas into the oil. As I have stated before, I am a newbie, and you guys saved my backside. If I hadn't been reading posts, I would have overlooked the oil change, and that would have been bad. I think there was more unleaded in the oil pan than oil. Thanks again all for the help.
