Hey guys,
I put a few pics in my gallery of my 79' from the time I first started on it about 3 years ago till I painted it. We did all the work to it ourselfs except the bed.. It was in too bad of shape.
Hope you all enjoy!. Its under "THE BUILD" in my usuer gallery
Be sure not to laugh to hard.. It was one ugly bomb..lol
I really apperciate it..
I was looking at a 55' F100, but I really dont have the money to start a new project right now. But the next thing im gonna do is put buckets in my ol ford with a custom made console, and a custom dash..
Im just curious?.. how do you get to be in "the ride of the week"??

yeah, someday i will get around to painting my truck, but its still pretty good looking from the factory. I need to fix some rust before I can get it painted.
Originally posted by 79_custom I got a extra patch panel that cover the wheel arch in the bed... I was gonna use it but there was no good metal to weld to..
I always think it's funny when someone thinks anyone cares about what that someone is going to do, when they should be celebrating the person who actually completed a tough project.
Thanks alot to all,
My next "BIG" job to do to it will be to repaint it. Im still going to leave it Coral Orange, except give it the same paint scheme as a 69' or a 70' mach 1 mustang, with black on the hood w/ a hood scoop and then a the stripes running down the bottom sides of the doors from wheel arch to wheel arch.
I think it will look great..
