Flash number meaning?
Took the truck in for stalling and loading up at stop lights, which by the way, TEXAS MOTORS FORD didnt fix, and also to have the dec. flash done. The service ticket says " Reprogrammed PCM/FICM/TCM WITH 3U7A-12A650-FTC. Is this the Dec. flash or the old oct. flash? Truck is goin back in the shop tommorrow to see if they can get the stalling on takeoff prob. fixed. I told them to check the harness by the FICM but you know that they no everything.... Problem is real easy to duplicate now so i just have to get a real Mech. to take a ride with me so he can see for himself...

Sounds like you might have some other problems. Do a search on wire chafing. There has been some good info posted you can print out and take with you. Things get done a little better when you speak nicely coming with a postion of knowledge.
Let us know what you find out.

Thanks SBV45, I took the paper that i printed off this web site and showed it to the service rep that was assigned to me, he didnt have any interest in my paper, maybe his boss will have a little talk with him after i "nicely" show him what i showed the other guy before. Yall keep up the good work on this site.

Good luck. I get the same reaction when I mention what I got off the Internet. The service people attempt to discredit the information. It seems to me the Ford employees and dealer network could get some valuable information here. The problem is with those that post highly emotional and unreasonable approaches.
