I agree, if you can get it for that price, take it and run. They must be losing money on it.

That is for the energizer cams. Those cams are single pattern. The powermax cams are more expensive.

You can use a single pattern but you will have a better performing engine with a dual pattern. Economy will improve also. Price would be the only reason not to buy the dual pattern but the way I see it, how often do you change a cam?

Autozone sells lifters for around $1.89 a peice. They are a good lifter.

$1.89 X 16 = $30.24 a set

Yes, they will work perfectly. They are hydraulic. Most likely if you bought a kit the lifters in it would be the exact same.

Wouldn't that 941 cam be a bit much for a stock valve train....?

seems like a lot of lift for stock springs.....

I'm going to the try the comp cams 268....I have the cam but won't be installing it for a couple of months.... It might not be as agressive as I want ........we'll see

You'd need to get the recommended springs. Otherwise you are taking a big chance. I always recommend new springs with cams that are bigger than stock. The old springs could possibly work but you would have to get them pressure tested. You can find springs locks and retainers for around $100 max.
