Overhead console, not a question a solution
OK, i know the overhead console has been a much discussed/asked question, so i finally did something about it. I installed a 99' Ford Explorer overhead console in my 95' I did a write up on superford. the link is below

OK Now I am up for the task! I have looked around for an overhead for my 85 but haven't found anything that I really liked. I like the instructions you gave. THANKS!! It will be a big help. Especially calibrating the compass. NICE WORK!

i dont remember, but im assuming it will be diferant in everybody's truck, i just looked at the fuse panel and then used my multimeter to check and see how it worked, you can always use a male spade connector, and shove it in to fuse hole and just have it share
