Did it come with the overhead console???I have seen alot of XLT without one, but yet my XL has one??

my 2000 has the roof console and digital temp and direction..........my loaded 99 with power everything didnt..........crazy!!!

It's for your garage door opener. I think it sticks up in there.

I have the overhead console on the XLT.

That is odd...Well, If I am not mistaken strick, homer and me all have black trucks..Maybe its the black .

By the way, where did this thread come from, I thought I posted that comment in another one?

cameron--what are you talkin about?? did i miss somthin in the sticky?

oh yea, my truck is basically black as you said, but it is dark dark blue, almost everyone that sees it mistakes it for black...

u must have posted the comment ur talking about in the sticky

heh, i dont even use my overhead neways, the only good the xlt is, is that u can go offroading alot better than the xl..........stock and stock neways

Thats right your truch is dark blue homer, maybe i was talking about true and strick...I don't find much difference between XL and XLT. How could it offroad better? I guess I got one of the better XL's. It came with Ford Premium Sound/with CD player. Overhead console, cruise control, aluminum alloy rims, tilt, 3.55 gears/P255 75R16..not to mention comfortable seats (it also came with fancy flame looking tint on front windshield, flowmaster exhuast, and ram air hood scoops(not real).

I think what Homer is talking about is the 4x4 vx. the 4x2 drivetrain. Yes, the 4x4 spanks our hinies!

well if it is 4x4, yes. My old 4x4 300I6 towed excellent, but that 4x4 drank gas...

Yea I have the 4x4 XLT....I said it can offroad a little better becuase it is higher off the ground than the XL's...
