Angry Door lock problems

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem that I am having with my door locks. At aprox 80k miles I replaced all 5 door lock activators. My problem is that about every 3 months or so I plug my cell phone in the external jack to charge in and it blows the fuse for the door locks. Service manager told me "don't do that then"...ha ha but I have come to find out that they are not on the same circuit. I'm perplexed......This has been going on for over a year The entire door lock system has been reinsulated by ford but the problem persists. 3000 more miles and I hit 100k, I think I'm going to buy a chevy next time...lol This truck has been one big piece of crap.

Does it blow the fuses when you plug something OTHER than the phone charger in it?

Is the truck "crap" just because of the door lock actuators or have you had multiple other problems?

Well I cant really say...I don't plug anything else into that bay. They replaced the rear acutator yesterday and we'll see what happens.

About the "crap"...I have replaced the trans at 60K, ford has never seen a trans go out on a truck that dosen't do any commercial hauling. I tow a boat but I don't consider that even close to commercial towing. Every seal on my diesel has been replaced and the dam motor continues to leak oil. Just yesterday I took it in because the fuse blew on the door locks, while already pissed off I decided to press my luck and look under the rig to see if she was leaking again.....sure enough she was. I have been informed again that the oil pan gasket is leaking again. I just replaced it less than a year ago. They have to pull the engine to get the dam gasket out. Without 100k warranty the job would cost so $1200 bucks. Turbo seals leaked last month, valve cover gaskets mid last year. Rear pinion seal, rear main seal twice...the list goes on and on. I'm not bashing for, this is my seconed X, I totaled my first one with 46K on her and she had NO problems. I think I just got a lemon with this on. I am waiting until the F350 body change in '05 and I'm sold on getting one, I just hope they have all the bugs worked out with that 6.0 motor!!
