I would be happy to see other nations participating in the space program as long as they shared the expenses. If there are any technological benefits to the trips, everyone ultimately shares the rewards.

Can we afford such a mission right now?But what I ment was we dont seem to make anthing here any more would all the parts on the ship be made elsewhere?

I would be all for a mission to mars. However, if we were going to get into a join venture, china would not be the country to do it with. We don't have a strong relatinoship with them, I would say do it with britian, or some country we have had a long, strong alliance with.
