I have a 99 250SD with v10. I was having a 'wondering problem' and took it to a mechanic who said the drag link went bad. Has anyone heard of that before?

Any info would be helpfull.

I have heard of this. On my last 2 SD trucks I have had to replace the upper drag link joint that connects to the pitman arm. The cost from Ford was about $35.00 US. Once I replaced it, my play was gone and never had a problem with it after.
