Which Bronco?
I now have a 87 bronco eb tow pkg super cool pkg lots of body rust and need to rebuild the 351w. I am looking at a 88 bronco xlt 5.0 nice body but the floor pans are rusted through needs bumpers frame is a lot more rusted than the 87. the 88 that I'm looking at is $1800. Which would be the better to start with? The bronco will be used for towing and mud type fun and some winter driving. I like the bigger engine but really like fuel injection also.

Aye, i would also say try and get both. talking the seller down shouldnt be too hard, just as long as your confident and if you dont know exactly what your doing, at least try to sound like it. Then again, i dont know if you want to spend the time restoring two vehicles... i suppose its really up to you. :-)

$1800 for the 88 sounds kinda steep i bought a 1990 XLT 150k 351w perfect body new tranny interior bran new all it needed was tires an oil change air filter plugs ( the norm whrn buying a used vehical wehter it needs it or not and an iac. i even got all records of every thing dont to it from its birth in 1990. from oil changes to tire rotations with receipts too boot $1300 was a steel truck caost at anywere from $3500 to $4500 And only cause of the high miles. but if you look around you can find better i bought an 88 before that with same condition rust and rot motor was replaced by ford and only had 70k miles $500
